How did you get started with Bodybuilding?
I was 17 and was in the “not eating and doing 500 sit-ups a day” routine. I accidentally bumped into a Muscle & Fitness magazine and saw the fitness model on the cover. I was terrified, she looked CRAZY, but in some way it caught my attention, I went back to buy the magazine and I remember it felt like I was reading an Adult Magazine since all these half naked bodies were in it. Anyway, I realized it took dedication, discipline, a lot of exercise and a strict diet. I liked that and felt this was meant for me. I decided to become a pro bodybuilder, went to my first gym and told the trainer I was going to be onstage in 2002 (3 years later) and I needed to get muscular.
What are your opinions on IFBB Pro Bodybuilders who uses Image / Performance enhancing drugs? Aren’t they risking their health?
There is a big difference between for instance using drugs including AAS for preventive medicine/anti-aging and competition use. Medical doctors who are replacing hormones to normal healthy level I’m all for, but bodybuilders use supra physiological amounts that in no way promote health. So, I’m PRO health and CON abuse. For me personally I’ve never used steroids, growth hormone or the popular clenbuterol. My reason for not doing it is I am not willing to risk my health, my looks and also, never felt I needed it. Now, birth control pills are steroids too and that lol I have used!

A ban was placed recently on certain pre-workout supplements containing 1,3-dimethylamylamin, does that affect you and if so, do you have any other alternative pre-workout supplements that you would like to recommend?
I never used it. I drink a sugar free rockstar or use AST sports science dymetadrine xtreme pre workout.
You’ve appeared on several fitness magazines and even national television, do you have plans to go further or are you happy with where you are now?
Of course not content! I want to get back on TV. I do love what I do now which is writing, but being in front of the camera is fun.
As a successful International Fitness Model, what advice or tips would you give to people looking to achieve your aesthetic physique and to appear on the front page of magazine covers?
Treat it like a full time job, can’t be dedicated one day and not the next.
What are your future plans?
Grow my business, create many fighter diet products, and be in a fitness TV show again.
What are your long term goals?
Do what I do now but in larger scale.
