How and why did you get into Fitness Training?

Since I was a teenager that I have been related with sports, this life style and i always loved competition. This and my natural athleticism, opened many doors for me. When I was doing a marketing campaign as a fitness model for a Supplement Store in Brazil, I saw a poster of Monica Brant on the wall and I was instantly amazed by her. That moment right there, was where it all happened and got me more into this world of female figure competition.

What is your daily workout routine and diet like?

I do 45min of cardio everyday first thing in the morning during off-season and twice day during pre-contest.
I train about 6 days per week and my weight training consists of high-reps.

My routine split is Shoulders/Abs, Biceps/Triceps, Legs/Calves, Back and Hamstrings/Glutes.
As for my diet, I like to eat clean and I do it almost year round.

I always do small portion meals every 3 hours that include protein, low glycemic carbs and vegetables. Protein ( Chicken / Turkey / Tilapia ), Vegetables ( Broccoli / Salad / Asparagus )

What workout routine would you suggest to female beginners?

What advice would you give to people looking to achieve your aesthetic physique?

There are some key tips, consistency and motivation are two of them. Find inspirations, it will help you a lot, seek for what motivates you, for what ignites you. Last but very important, don’t ignore the diet, it is very important and essential. Also don’t be afraid perform weight training routines, I guarantee it will work wonderfully.

Tell us about your journey and how you got all the way to the top as IFBB Pro Figure Fitness Model.

I started competing in Figure Competitions since 2005, and I received my Pro Card in 2007. After that I moved to the US to compete with the best in the world. Since then I have been competing in several different shows including other countries as well! I am sponsored by the best companies in the Fitness World, such as Nutrex Research, Better Bodies and Suits by Amy, I can’t thank them enough for the support and strength that they give me every day. I am simply living my dream!

I am also proudly part of the Vitrix Model Team which I love and I have the luck to work with the best artists in the world, from photo-shoots to magazines. Much dedication and effort in every step I gave, I am doing what I love the most, so I am as happy as I can be!

Have you ever had any obstacles in your fitness journey?

I can say that having to move one country to another when I got the opportunity to become professional, was very difficult. I arrived to the US without being able to speak English, not knowing anyone and without money. Till this day, It is still hard for me because I am very far away, from my family, my friends and my country and I miss all of that but I get a lot of support from everyone, including my fans and this keeps me strong and motivates me. I always had the never give up mentality and it still burn inside me today, every time more. We have to work hard every day and believe in ourselves. Nothing is impossible!

How did you manage to overcome those obstacles and progress even further?

My strength and will to win in life comes from everyone who supports and believes in me and in my work.
Like I said previously, we have to work hard every single day and believe in ourselves. Nothing in this life is impossible, we can dream and we sure can achieve it. I always say that the mind is the most powerful.

What advice would you give to female beginners looking to become a fitness model just like you in the near future?

Never stop believing and never give up! Make your dreams come true and work hard for it! Always strive to work harder than yesterday, this is the road to follow.

Patience and love for what you do will one day, lead to success, it doesn’t happen overnight but it will happen if you keep at it!

What is your life long dream in Fitness Modeling?

My life long dream is complete! I’ve worked with the most amazing artists doing photo-shoots and I still do at this moment, I’ve appeared on several fitness magazines that I was chosen for and I am living my dreams already! I love it and it is a truly a blessing!

What are your long term goals?

My main goal is to always challenge and overcome myself. I want to be the best I can be. I want to spread the message of World Peace to everyone and everywhere, it is much more than winning competitions, like I always said, just for being on stage I am already winning, it is an honor and I am representing everyone who believes in me.
